Improvement of flatness and sheet travel

With the newly developed “Film Smoothing Unit FSU x000“, flatness and sheet travel can be effectively improved.
In the FSU x000, the continuous film is heated behind the haul-off and then further processed with temperature and additional tensile stress.
Defects such as “PORT LINES” from the die head, caused by different shear rates, and defects such as sagging from flattening are effectively influenced and thus significantly reduced.
This influence leads to a significant improvement in machine runnability during printing and lamination.
The FSU x000 is a cost-effective way of optimally preparing the blown film for further processing and effectively influencing problems that often occur with older systems.
